Payroll takes the period’s attendance
Late arrivals, absences, overtime, fixed items and deductions go into the calculation. The electronic payslip and the journal entry come out of the same run.
Requests resolved in the flow
Time off and leave are requested, approved or countered from XEN. The decision is written in the employee file and in the day balance.

Follow Ana Rojas’s day: she punches in at 08:19 on the floor clock, the late arrival is flagged for review and the period reaches payroll with the entry prepared.

Time off and leave with approval
Request, approval or counterproposal from XEN. The decision is written down and the day balance updates on its own.
Reviews and contracts

The period closes with the entry ready.
