Xeni is not a search engine or a general chat. It works on what the open screen can see, with your permissions. That changes quite a bit how you should ask it for things.
Open the screen before you ask
If you ask about August collections from the collections screen, you do not need to say which company or which month you mean. Asking from another screen forces you to write all the context, and the answer is usually worse.
Ask for an action, not an essay
It works better to ask for something concrete that can be reviewed and confirmed.
- Good: mark as uncollectible the invoices more than 180 days overdue.
- Good: summarize why this month's margin fell against last month's.
- So so: write an executive report for the quarter.
- Bad: tell me how the company is doing.
State the criterion, not the answer
If you expect a specific number and mention it in the request, you are asking to be agreed with. It is better to give the criterion and let the calculation come out of the data.
Review before you confirm
Xeni proposes and the person confirms. A model can read the data correctly and reason badly, or reason well over incomplete data. Confirmation is not bureaucracy: it is the step that makes it worth using.
When it says it does not know
That is the right answer if the data is not in the organization or if your role does not reach it. Insisting with another wording does not change the permissions, and it is right that it does not.
